About

Who Does What
Since this site, ASTROBOX, is actually a collective effort from a bunch of folks who share the same enthusiasm, I, as a webmaster, feel the need to rightly map out what credits belong to whom, since it looked as if I did all the hard work myself while it wasn't the case:

It is very, very, VERY welcome for anyone to offer help in any form, be it resources providing like vocal rips, or more on the technical sides like web hosting help, or if you are proficient on audio related issues maybe you could write us up some tutorial for beginners. ANYTHING!

Contacts
I realized I did not make the contact information clear enough before, if there was any at all. I am Chancha and the most direct way is find me via e-mail:

chancha at mac dot com

But if you are already a camper at some places that you know I hang around as well, those places are more preferred: AIM - "ichancha" / IRC - EFnet nick "cha-cha" / mm-bbs - "Chancha"

Insider - Mixer Profiles
Finally something worth reading in this section... In the future I will try to put up similar interview-style profiles for everyone of our featured mixers, and possibly even Japanese local talents as well (need translator, I guess...) As a kicker we got our mighty surasshu for the first interview!

A lousy history of this place
I guess if you were a frequent visitor of the predecessor of this site, formerly Hello!Machine (and then turned into just a nameless leeching site), you will be quite surprised to see what this has become now.

Truth be hold, in the past I (Chancha) have been maintaining this page, just so to take use of my dot mac webspace, which has a considerable bandwidth (read: unlimited), to serve all you starving leeches out on the intarwebnet. But then, somewhere along the way I figured what I did is worth less and less ever since BT and other means of filesharing between H!P fans has popped out. Well, it wasn't like I was updating this site at all anyway.

Actually, on top of that, recently my fandom toward H!P in general has fade. Which spurred me to dig out these amazing fan remixes from Japanese fans. This sort of dedication reminds me what it means about being a fan, and what should be gotten the most out of. As Tsunku has said, the best thing about Morning Musume is that being their fan, you can also participate, than just take whatever the fuck is being served.
What you are seeing since then
Basically, this site is being turned into a portal page / updates+news / resource database concerning the whole H!P fan remix scene (and eventually J-pop remixes as well). Also, another major purpose of this site will be to host / promote mixes done by oversea fans. Yes, we got great stuff too you know :)

The site is still under construction, with lots of future contents planned... I will expand it to have discussion forums, database sort of archive of fan mixes, all that. I hope the layout isn't too fancy to get digested...

This site is maintained by Chancha. Not all of the content of this page is made / done / generated by me. I did the design, hosting, and perhaps that's it. All credits of the mixes featured here are due to their own creator / author (if applicable). I already try my best to not bypass necessary creditings...
